There are photos that you love as soon as you snap them. The quick moment of excitement in knowing that you nailed it. The lighting was perfection, the background was God-sent, the subject fell effortlessly into the left third line of the frame. Then there are the photos that you had no idea how much you would love. Until you see them in their fullness, until you see the detail. Until you see the detail that you missed in the moment.
I saw the tear on this sweet groom’s cheek. A tear filled with love, with respect, with expectation for a marriage rooted in Christ, and with whole-hearted adoration for his bride. And I fell.
